A little update

Oh my gosh, today is A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!! Being December 5th, Jeff is finishing up his LAST DAY of FREE LABOR!!!!!!!!! I cannot describe to you how surreal this actually is for me. I've been literally worrying and stressing and pestering my husband about what's next for the past three months. (No, we still do not have a plan) However, we are getting closer to making our decision. We're really waiting on the companies hiring to see if they will hire Jeff on as a LAPT (translation: Someone who is registered to take the Physical Therapy Boards (end of February-ish) and will work under another therapist's license until he gets his own ie, passes the board exams). Some will, some won't. A few of Jeff's top companies that he wants to work for are telling him to call first of the year after her graduates to see what's available. Some companies have offered him jobs, just not his top choices...so you see, it's all up in the air still with lots of possibilities. Luckily, if he wants, he can start working in January and GET PAID FOR IT!! What a novelty.

So what for now?? Jeff has next week off (and we thought about coming to UT, but that trip will have to wait) and we'll be job hunting, interviewing, registering for the boards etc. Then he goes back to school for one last week the 15-19 and he's graduating on the 20th at 8:30 am at Arco Arena!!!

And so, to my honey, I love you so much and am SO FREAKIN PROUD OF YOU! I really think that Jeff is an amazing therapist. He has such a way with the people that he works with. He genuinely cares about them and they know it. I heard this saying and it's so true...

People don't care how much you know
Until they know how much you care.

That's totally Jeff. It's why he makes an amazing skilled nursing therapist...the old people just love him and it's why he makes an outstanding orthopedic outpatient therapist...people trust him because he cares so much about helping them. I love you sweetheart and can't believe that you're done! Dec. 2008 seemed so far away four 1/2 years ago when we first got married. Now, two kids later, we're happier than ever and know that we'll always cherish these past 4 1/2 years! Hurray!
