What to name her??

Well, we have three "top" names for this little girlie and I'm totally stuck. At one point in the past 5 years I have LOVED each of these names for a period of time. If Justin was a girl he would have no doubt been named Lindsey Belle Capell. Jeff's grandma was Maudra Belle and mine was Zola Belle, so it was kinda a no brainer on the middle name and we both really liked Lindsey. Then Jeff really likes Jessica Marie...me, I'm not sure...I have liked it before, but right now I'm feeling very undecided. Plus, the whole J name thing, he really likes it. Then there's McKenzie Belle which I LOVED when I first got pregnant and for sure she was going to be McKenzie, until about three months ago and I just am not sure about that either.

SO, I'm going back to the books and think I need some new options. I'm calling out for some ideas. Jeff's new idea is Jocelyn (sticking with the J again) and I really do love the name. HOWEVER, I have a really good friend in Chicago with a Jocelyn...not so sure I could copy.

Oh, and Justin and Jordan are DETERMINED that her name is Hailey! They talk about how baby sister is Hailey and are very sure of it. I actually really like that name too, but Jeff is not convinced.

So, my dear friends, HELP! What do YOU think???? I need new options and tell me your thoughts about the names we have.

I'm So excited for you to have a beautiful little girl Sheila!!!! Out of those names I like McKenzie, Jocelyn, then Hailey, Lindsey, and Jessica--but they are all cute--and belle is a great middle name. I love doing family names for the middle name. I don't think it's a problem if you have a friend with a Jocelyn...I don't think it would matter unless you are going to be around them ALL the time, and even so...Other Ideas? I like Hayden, Ellie, Lilly, Ava, Leigh, Addison, Layla, Riley, Brooklyn, Bailey, Blake, London,Zoe (I have a thing for boy names for girls)...and of course my own faves --don't touch! Just kidding, feel free! Taylor, Carter, Kennedy, Reagan, Madison, McKinley...probably more suggestions then you want, but you asked for it :) :)

I personally think Kaitlyn Belle has a nice ring to it. :) Out of the names you have my FAVORITE is Lindsey Belle for sure. The others are not my fav names, but I will love her even if you name her Hepseba. :) As for new suggestions . . . well, definitely keep the Belle middle name. SO CUTE!! Ummm, first names??? I like the name Annie . . . sorry that is all I got. Girl names are HARD FOR ME!!

Belle is a sweet middle name... esp. because of how you explained the no-brainier factor. I think if you parents can't decide, let the boys name her. They do have a really sweet and cute choice. How did they come up with Hailey?! LOL

I always tell friends that a confirmation and the perfect name is often found when you hold your baby for the first time. =) But baby naming is such a big responsibility!!

I vote Jocelyn Belle. Your friend lives far away, so it's ok. :)

i love that the boys are convinced her name is Hailey. that is so cute! i am a believer that you need to actually see the baby first. Sam's mom was planning on naming his older brother Sam but when she took one look at him, she said.. ohh that is not sam, and had to name him something different haha. I say keep a few that you love, then when you see her for the first time, maybe something will click. :)

I love Lindsey. That was what I was going to name Kallie at one point. If Jake was a girl I was saving Reese for a girl. I know that name can go both boy and girl, but I loved it for a girl! if you want a good J name..you can always go with JENNIFER! HA HA!
I really like a ton of names, Marissa's middle name is Rylee...love it. I love Malia, Lindsey, Reese, Jessie, Makenna, and i do love Hailey. Your boys are smart. I have so many names right now, but drawing a blank. I always like M names. Good luck. All those names sound fabulous!

My vote is .......... Hailey Belle. I think it is too sweet and perfect a name from the generation past and a name from generation now. Plus, I think Amber Brown has got it out for you. :) I live in Utah, baby central, and those are the only names I hear. Hailey is a good strong name that is common but not crazy popular (right now, anyways).

P.S. Sorry to call you out Amber xo

Its a hard decision!! I think my favorite is Jocelyn Belle. I love that both grandma's have that name! Perfect! But you can't go wrong with any of the other ones either. Hailey Belle is cute too just because the boys would have named her. Good luck and don't worry! It will all come together!

And while I admit that many of the names I liked are trendy, Leigh has not ranked in the top 1000 in the last ten years, McKinley was ranked 760 in 2009, and I've NEVER met a girl named Carter....

Lindsey and Jessica are my favorites...so timeless. Not that any of our opinions matter though, right? At the end of the day you have to love it...I also like corporate dad's comment...Annie IS an unusually good name:) I loved your Disneyland pics; so glad you had such a great time, and I can't believe this little girl is almost here! Oh...and Belle is a GREAT middle name. In fact, my mom has always called me Annie Belle...hmm..I think I'm really on to something here.

Me again . . . I just wanted to say another reason I like Lindsey is that ONE you have liked that name for forever and TWO is hasn't been popular for a long time. I don't like popular names much. I also still like Annie . .. a lot. :) Amber . . . I hate to say it, but all those names you like are REALLY POPULAR!!! :) I love you AMBER!!!!! I just had to say that because you have now made two come back comments on here about your names and I just love that you are not afraid to FIGHT BACK!!
