Good thing for portable DVD players...while I have been slowly moving boxes over to our new house all month and unpacking, this is what they have been doing. Jeff and I got a chance to go to the Nutcracker again this year with the PT department at Memorial. There was a fancy reception beforehand and then the Ballet. Couldn't have come at a more stressful time though. The official move was the next morning.
Saying goodbye one last time to our first home. Def. more sweet than bitter for me. I think Jeff felt a little more bitter than sweet. We could not have felt the Lord's hand more in our decision with this though. When it was all said and done, we wound up selling it for $241,000. Which is more than we bought it for! We truly felt the Lord's love for us through this process. When we originally listed, we had an agent tell us we could not get more than $204,000 for it and that we should really short sale. Ummmm, no thank you. Next agent please! Nancy Call was amazing and she was ON it. Goodbye 5587 Pierce Lane!! Love you!
And then along with all our craziness, we had an amazing opportunity to go to the temple and see the lights with an investigator Sean Gage. He felt the Spirit so strong at the temple that he decided right there to be baptised. It was incredible to watch and be a part of. LOVE THE GOSPEL!!!! Perspective is so important.
